Garrett Hehn ’14
Flight Director, NASA
“Every day, we’re still learning, and we’re still trying to push the boundaries.”
Hehn follows in the footsteps of three other Virginia Tech alumni who rose to this elite position, including NASA’s very first flight director, Chris Kraft ’44. As part of our Leaders+ series, Hehn reflected on his passion for orbital mechanics, leadership inspired by his time as a swimmer, and the excitement of exploring new frontiers.
